Nice budget hotel close to the city center, stuff is ok. But reception is closed from 22:00 to 6:00. Rooms are small, but enough to sleep. Breakfast is basic , but enough to eat. Overall i think its a nice option to stay in Nuuk on a budget. Inside the hotel there is only the small cafe with coffee and pastries, but there a lot of restaurants around. Nice view on the cemetery.

When I first opened the door to our room I was going to immediately close it and find another hotel. The room was maybe 8' X 10' plus a tiny bathroom and shower. BUT on further inspection it was amazingly efficient with adequate electrical plugs, USB ports, desk and fold-down luggage rack. Great shower. Comfortable Queen bed, duvet and pillows. Free breakfast until 9am. Brilliant design! We'll be back in two weeks after our cruise!

The cons outweighed the pros unfortunately. Pros: great location. Efficient but tiny (maybe 8'x10') room with adequate electrical plugs and mirror. Good shower. Helpful front desk folks. Two elevators. Cons: Room 317 was hot hot hot although the outside temps were in the 40s and the window was open the limited 3". No a/c as most hotels. Difficult to get out of bed on window side without hitting head on tv - maybe 3" between foot of bed and wall. Pillows were old and flat. Free breakfast had limited options and ended at 9 am weekdays.

The hotel was okay for my short stay (just a few hours overnight) but I found the room very bare, there wasn’t even a kettle in the room. The bed in my opinion is uncomfortable and it’s gotten way too hot inside the room but keeping the window open at night wasn’t the option as there’s a loud road below. The walls are quite thin so you can hear all the neighbours. There’s a possibly to get coffee/tea in the cafe by the reception but it wasn’t opened at 5am when I was getting on my shuttle bus to the airport. Understandable, but in that case a kettle or a coffee vending machine would be great. The staff at the check-in was friendly and accommodating with the luggage drop-off, but during the check-out, I wasn’t even greeted or thanked.

The manager, Corrine, was fantastic. We had an issue with communication on the reservation between HHS and Expedia which she successfully and graciously addressed and solved. Kudos to her! The hotel is centrally located amidst a majority of the restaurants and bars in the area. That made it quite convenient for dinner. There's also a SPAR convenience store immediately next door to the hotel which makes it easy to pick up a few items (NOTE: No take-away alcohol sales on Sunday or after 8 PM). The hotel was close to all the attractions and only about 10 minutes from the airport.

Very convenient to get to the main part of town. Rooms adequately equipped for a short stay. Hotel has two entrances so if you call a taxi it’s up to you to work out which entry they will arrive at. If leaving luggage on departure to collect later in the day you need cash to operate the lockers storage on the lower floor. Reception give you the key and you store it yourself.

Great location. Easy walk to restaurants and shopping. Also, a nice walk to the Greenland Natural History Museum which is very interesting. Rooms are a bit small, but are nice and very clean. I wouldn't hesitate to book here again.

The location is great. Short walks to town center and several cafes and restaurants. The room is small but comfortable. The mattress was nice but the pillows were too thin for my liking.

HHE Express is the perfect place to launch your Greenland adventure! Staff is above and beyond helpful and kind, breakfast was delicious, the room was perfect: clean, comfortable, functional. Central location makes all of downtown Nuuk accessible, and it’s located in an area safe enough for a single woman to walk around at 3 AM looking for the lights! HHE has lockers you can use to store your belongings if you are going on an overnight excursion or if you arrive early/leave late. Sea view was easily worth the extra - the view out the window is like a postcard <3

Great staff. Very simple but it has everything you need. They don’t have a restaurant but there’s one behind the hotel. Breakfast was ok - nothing spectacular but it is good. Toiletry very limited though - I ran out of body wash during my stay, they haven’t replenished it when servicing the room. No hand towels. These shortcomings are minimal and don’t get in the way of a good review. It was my choice and I didn’t regret it.
