“It could be a lovely hotel if the staff smiled and had a clue what was going on. There was a lovely and friendly lady on reception, and one of the waiter serving in the evening was friendly, as was one of the bar staff (Josh). Everyone else seemed a bit surprised to have guests, and the women working at the bar weee positively rude in their demeanour. It could definitely do with an injection of cash to update it. “Hotel was in a beautiful setting and felt safe and secure inside the complex. The bed was so comfortable i didn't want to get up.Will definitely stay here again.”

“The hotel is not in Oxford, is actually 30 minutes drive from the actual city and just a few rooms have air conditioning. If you plan to come during summer, the rooms are quite hot.”

“On arrival noticed air con not working in room spoke with Sophie on reception who said that she would get maintenance to come and sort it out. Reminded about an hour later “yes, all in hand” Went out for the evening, came back and you guessed it, not been sorted, boiling hot and not helped by being on the top floor. Building is tired, bar staff in garden serve you like they are doing you a favour. Breakfast is good and staff in there really helpful.”

“Room was really clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. It made such lovely change to have a cooked breakfast brought to you instead of luke warm self service. Bar prices very reasonable. Restaurant food was great and reasonable prices.”
