We stayed here for one night on our way to the Outer Banks, and it was a convenient stop with several restaurants nearby. The hotel was clean, and the room was well maintained. The breakfast in the lobby was a pleasant surprise, it was much better than expected, especially considering it’s ordered at the front desk. Our only complaint was the air conditioning. We set the thermostat to 60°F, but the room never seemed to cool below about 75°F, making it uncomfortable to sleep. While we were downstairs getting breakfast before checking out, we overheard several other guests mentioning the same issue, so it didn’t appear to be limited to our room. If the air conditioning had worked as expected, we would have rated our stay much higher.

It was overall a good stay...however after staying here numerous times over the past 3 years this stay was a little less than stellar. The shower was completely out of shower gel, i had to call to get my receipt emailed to me after checking out, the 2nd floor that i was placed was a bit to close near the live d.j. on the 1st floor. Staff was very pleasant and cordial.

My go to whenever I am in town. Pretty standard hotel with amenities that will accommodate most needs. Gym for basic cardio/min weight lifting ability, indoor pool always a plus. Dog friendly with plenty green space for your pet including the waste stations. Parking is pretty open and able to find a spot. Bar and food available for a duration of time. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Smooth check out and even when my check in room was canceled without notification, management stepped in and found me a room as scheduled for the same rate. Overall, I am happy.
