A pleasant stay. Although it’s located on the Trans Canada Hwy., the rooms are quiet. The rooms have a window with a screen that can be opened for fresh air. The rooms are very clean, have very comfortable beds and a wooden floor.

This place has been completely renovated. Love the high toilet! Finally a high toilet. Owners tend to cheap out on the bathroom renos but this place didnt. Thanks. Very quiet for being close to the hwy.

What a truly great place! It really stood out above the rest on our trip across Canada. I’m wondering if the people who posted poor reviews were posting for the wrong hotel? It’s a small hotel only a dozen rooms and pretty full so would not have had “plenty of rooms available” like the one reviewer wrote. The rooms are not big but very nicely laid out. They are really clean and the bed was absolutely comfortable. Cindy greeted us on our arrival with warm danishes fresh out of the oven. We rented two rooms, one for us and one for my elderly parents. As soon as my mom opened her room door she said “oh wow” she loved it instantly. Cindy pointed out an excellent restaurant nearby for dinner (Ducky Diker) with delicious homemade food and saw us off the next morning with more hot danishes and yogurt. The hotel is right on the highway so easy to find, and the rooms were all nicely located on the back of the hotel so away from the sound of the highway. Not only would we stay here again, we would drive the extra bit to make sure we do. It was an excellent stay! Thank you Cindy!
