Fantastic location and friendly people Traditional on the outside, modern interior The lift is small and slow, so once you’ve dropped your bags the stairs are the easier option We really enjoyed our stay, thank you 🙏

Great location, but the staff just needed a better idea of the restaurants close by as there’s a couple of great little restaurants as you walk out, turn right then turn right and they are superb!!!

An oasis in Nice! Good size and well appointed rooms. Great location close to the beach and old town. Easy to get to from the airport. All in all, it was an excellent stay and we would have liked to have stayed longer.

Location great, staff kind and warm. Room well appointed and comfortable. Breakfast mediocre and not robust. Fruit would have been nice. A/C was a highlight during the heatwave--powerful and able to get room cold for sleep.

We got off to a not-good start, as we were given an accessible/ handicap room on arrival. We did not like the room at all - it was uncomfortable and the shower flooded the entire bathroom among other things. We were told it was the only available room at our check-in and they would find a better one next day, which they did. We had a 5th floor comfortable room the rest of our stay, which made all the difference. The staff were friendly and helpful. Room very clean. Continental breakfast was satisfactory overall and restaurant staff very nice. Hotel location is great - you can walk everywhere in the city easily.

A generally well kept boutique hotel that does the basics well. Room was spacious and clean. We were happy with the location as it was only about a 10 minute walk to the beach promenade and close to transportation and restaurants while still feeling like we were away from tourist crowd. Air con works very well while breakfast was ok but overpriced. You don't really have much to do with staff. Would stay here again.

Nice was our home base for 5 nights to enjoy Eze, Monaco, Monte Carlo, Antibes & Cannes. Victor Hugo was a beautiful European vibe hotel, great location just blocks to beach, to train station, and so many restaurants all around - pretty church right across the street. The main street it is on is lined with beautiful trees. Rooms are simple but very good size as well as good sized bathroom & shower, mini fridge, cute little balconies, good a/c. Great full breakfast each morning is included, lovely outside patio to enjoy it on...they had a Happy Hour at night (we never made it to). They offer beach towels you can use, ask front desk. Front desk staff helpful and friendly. I would definitely return.

Great location with lots of good restaurants and shops nearby and away from the old town so it's much quieter. Our room was small and basic with very limited furniture and table surface. Breakfast was good and inexpensive. Staff was friendly and helpful. It's worth staying again.
