The Busby hotel is very Centrally located in Nice making it easy to site see all over within 10min or so. They have amenities for going to the beach if you don’t. The staff is nice.

Great spot during my stay in Nice as a young female soul traveler. Rooms are a bit outdated, and I wish the air conditioning worked better especially given that I was there during a historic heat wave. But other than that, the room absolutely did the job. It was very spacious and the entire property as a whole was very clean and safe as well.

The location can’t be beat unless you want an $1500 a night room. Affordable breakfast 10 min walk from the train station and Old Town. Close to the water. Nice bathrooms. We had to make last minute reservations because our previous accommodations fell through. Glad we found the Busby.

Our room had tons of ants in it as we got in. We noticed them immediately in the bathroom and by the next morning it was clear the ants were in our room, too. The walls and carpet/flooring are quite run down. However, we were there during a busy time (Tour de France Femmes), the price was competitive (you get what you pay for), and location very walkable/central. There wasn't a pen in the room: I went to the front desk to borrow one and they were very insistent I bring it back (which I did). Perk: there are beach mats and umbrellas in the lobby that guests can borrow for the beach, which was nice!
