Lovely and very helpful staff. The updates including the carpets, all bedding, the lobby and room furnishings and the bathroom were charming. Nice toiletries too. Everything feels fresh even though we experienced 99% humidity weather during our stay. I happily recommend a stay there.

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities
When we first got there, the lobby was pretty clean took a few minutes for someone to get there when we finally did. She was cordial and nice the room however it was not clean. Carpet was dirty filthy leftover slippers from the other person, dirty blankets stained blankets dried up blood on the blankets. And bugs and spiderss above bed and refrigerator had orange spots in it microwave was OK. Heat up pretty good but inside could be cleaner. Too many cobwebs everywhere too much dust not good to inhale. I say one thing they could do better is definitely get a better cleaning person.

Front desk staff on the night of our arrival was very helpful and accommodating when I asked for another room. The first wasn't clean, sheets had holes in them. Second room had a leak in the ceiling from recent rains. Toilet and sink area was definitely not cleaned! Dusty surfaces. Fridge wasn't plugged in, we didn't need it so don't know if it worked. Lamps also had to be plugged in. Property generally has seen better days. It was very quiet, up a hill in the woods which was great.

I purchased a stay here mid week to get some much needed schoolwork done without the noise and bustle of my home. It was a couple of towns over in a very convenient location. Cute little hotel, very quiet and clean. Great for the price. The key card kept not working, however, staff fixed it immediately each time. I will be staying there again if i need another quiet getaway to work on school.

I chose a budget hotel so that I could use my dollars for the more fun things. I was only a short jaunt to Mystic, Dubois beach, Hammonasset State Beach, Misquamicut State Beach, and Rocky neck. I drove the coast, ate at the delicious restaurants and then made it back to this little hotel The rooms were clean, the bedding was safe, the young man at the front desk answered all my requests with a cheerful personality. Check in and out was easy and quick. For a low price this place met expectations!

This motel was very cute. The staff was friendly and helpful. The facilities are dated and but everything was clean. My only complaint was that there was no coffee either in the room or anywhere else in the morning. Otherwise it was exactly what you would expect for your money and got the job done.

The hotel was very quiet, and the location was convenient for my visit. The room seemed clean but smelled musty. The heat/AC was dusty and triggered my allergies when I turned it on. The TV didn't work properly, the screen kept displaying multiple-colored lines. I didn't report it as the desk was empty when I left.

Place needs some work. Bathroom leaks marks, ice machine was down, no pool as advertised, and it has a weird smell.

Amenities are bare bones. Pool was closed. No more breakfast although they still have pictures. No maid service during a 3 night stay. Evident management is cutting corners as much as possible. Rooms are dated. Pictures are old.

This hotel has alot of potential lived here my whole life never knew it was there. Its clean they are friendly but on expedia and online it lists that they have a pool and offer breakfast. Pool was empty and covered and not anywhere near working condition and there was no breakfast offered not even coffee and the ice machine was broken i i did nit see a fitness center?? Great for a place to sleep or a quick stop but nit for a long stay with family unless ammentities are in working order and there. This is a busy area and had i been traveling with my daughter who is a pool kid would have been dissappointing.

I got to the hotel with my 1.5 year old son around 930 pm, and the first room they gave me was really dirty. Dust everywhere, (im talking thick white dust, like the room hadnt been used in years), non working equiptment (mini fridge to keep my sons milk cold), loose black specs of a mystery substance on the sheet under the comforter and yellow stains like the sheets had not been washed, dirty toilet, broken furniture, glass rims visible on the surfaces of the dressers and tables. Just overall, they do not have either the care or the staff to clean the rooms properly, and they seem to be scraping by with little effort. The pool in the back, which as a kid, was in working condition, has been long gone.

Our room was dark and the light on the wall was not working. There was a standing lamp but no outlet to plug it into, so we made do with two desk lamps. The bathroom was a little shabby but the bed was comfortable and clean and the woman at the desk was really nice and friendly. The AC also worked well.

The bed was firm, the air conditioner worked well, the room was sufficient. Interacting with the staff was very pleasant and helpful. This is an older facility that isn’t a convenient location and if you simply need a spot to lay your head, this is a good spot.
