The staff was great. The walk to the sister hotel for coffee wasn’t so great. But the price was right, it was clean and they offer beach access. Once the remodel is completed I don’t think we will be able to afford it as it will be in the top tier accommodations offered by Choice. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

The only thing I didn’t care for was no coffee maker in the room. Otherwise 4.5 stars. Everything else was fantastic!

Place Is disgusting . Do yourself a favor and never EVER COME HERE. I have seen homeless shelters in better condition . Plus the windows didn’t have screens a small child can make one mistake and fall 3 stories to death .

Check in was very confusing, You have to go the hotel next door. BUT we were not given any of that information prior to arriving. We Parked and found the doors locked. A helpful person outside of the hotel helped us. The room had no couch, just two dirty chairs, no AC. Our room was very warm until around 2AM. Check in was okay, staff was okay (not real friendly). We will stay at the hallmark next time.

The room had no air conditioning, no flow of air. No windows or doors to open to the ocean. No light to see the ocean at night. They showed stay included a bacon and egg breakfast, but it was a continental no bacon or eggs. The beds were feeling worn. Sheets felt and smelled great. The ion was very clean and attractive. Plenty of hot water for shower. It was inconvenient as to check in was one hotel and you had to walk or drive to the other hotel. Including the continental breakfast was at the other hotel, so again walk or drive. Way over priced compared to other coastal hotels with better amenities

A coffee maker would have been nice, and air conditioning. The rom was very stuffy and only had two teeny tiny windows that didn't allow much air flow in. The beds were uncomfortable, and each side sloped toward the outside edge. If you wanted anything from housekeeping, you had to give 24 hour notice, if check-in isn't until 4 and you have to check out by 11 and are only staying one night, then I guess you're screwed. The skin bowl was cracked and no glasses or cups for water. They had hot cups.. but no coffee maker.

Staff ignored us when trying to check in, no hot water, windows covered in seagull poop, looked like windows hadn't been cleaned in a while.

The room was clean next line. The beach view was perfect except there was seagull poop all over the window. We requested another room and we were able to move and the window was fairly clean. So we got a good view of the ocean. This was the fourth story so hard to keep windows up that high clean, I guess.

Light over table did not work. This ruined our evening plans. Maintenance confirmed there are 3 bulbs & only 1 switch to control that light. He did not even attempt to find out if the bulb he brought would fix the problem. We were told mgmt would call us back the next day. Never heard from them. Heater was on even when the room temp was apx 75 degrees, yet the thermostat was set at 65 degrees. Restaurant closed due to remodeling in other portion of hotel. Elevator was extremely slow. The only very good thing was the view.

Beautiful view from the room. However, the heat was wonky, it was hard to get the room warm and it was cold at the beach when I stayed there. The shower was awful, hard to get hot water, I thought I might lose the handle because it was so loose. There was not coffee maker or tea in the room, you had to go next door to the Elizabeth street Inn if you wanted anything. I guess you get what you paid for since it was less expensive than the Elizabeth Inn but still for over $200.00 a night I expected better.

This was a lovely hotel. It's currently under renovations, so I am excited to see what it becomes. It's fairly simple with minimal amenities, but what you're really paying for is the amazing view an direct beach access. Every room overlooks the ocean and there is a staircase right down to the beach. Some aspects of the building are quite old, but again, it's undergoing a remodel at the moment. We loved our stay.

Hotel is very dated. Windows are coated with debris so even though it's "beach view", you can only see out 50% of the window. The water pressure in the shower was good, but the tub drained slow so you stood the in ankle high water. The hotel does not have a pool (for many years per maintenance), we had to use the "Hotel - Elizabeth" Pool next door. We used the hot tub, and it was like cold bath water, we spent <5mins and bailed. The elevator takes it's time and barely opens, only certain floors have ice machines and "no" vending machines. The hotel overall feels eerily empty, it's said they are remodeling. For the price, not worth it at all.

Our room smelled so terrible, we fled to the beach. the carpet had just been shampooed and was still wet. The “view” window was frosted over with salt on the outside and condensation in spot was nearly opaque. The bed skirt was rucked so the tatty worn box spring was exposed, there were hairs in the sink, and no staff or front desk in the building to ask for help. The note saying to request housekeeping required 24 hours notice, but there were only 19 hours between the earliest check in time and the latest check out. One of the exits was bolted closed. There was no manager available after check in. Furniture and decor were dated

Horrible experience, very dirty rooms at this hotel. It’s not just one problem but many. 1. Entering the parking garage in a sedan scrapes and damages the bottom of the car, that’s how bad the parking garage is designed. Trucks and SUV’s may have enough room underneath but sedans get damaged. 2. Foul odor emanated from the room as soon as we entered, even with window open we could not get rid of the stench. 3. Room was sold as ocean view but the windows were very dirty 4. Dirty carpets both outside and inside the room 5. Towel holder by the bathtub fell off when I tried to hang a bath towel To Expedia: Please refrain from listing this hotel, you are damaging your reputation. To the hotel management: How incompetent can you be? Maybe you are lazy or maybe you don’t have enough time to fix issues which is understandable, but how do you have the temerity to charge close to $300 for a one night stay at this dumpster bin. I’m not sure about rules and regulations in the hospitality industry, but aren’t there checks and inspections to ensure safety and standards like they have in restaurant kitchens. I am willing to spend time on this if someone can point me in the right direction to complain to relevant authorities. It is a such a waste that prime ocean front property is handled by a bunch of incompetent buffoons.

Under renovations so a little clunky but only real complaint is that the elevator was slow. Free salmon chowder at 5pm in the hotel lobby next door and cookies at 7. Window view was great, a little dirty but with the birds and renovation that’s probably unavoidable

I liked the location. The hotel is under renovations. So keep that in mind. We received no room service. The room had no coffee maker. You couldn't see out the window to see the ocean because of the condensation between the glass panes. We will not stay there again.

No idea it was under renovation. Didn’t know we had to check in at other hotel. No lobby, restaurant, etc. Had to go to other hotel to get anything. Bird poo all over windows which were also double panes and fogged so view was not clear. Poor insulation, propane is running around all night. Nice big rooms is all I can say positive.

The location was good with the beach right there, although it's freezing and windy. There was also a nice Nye district that was a nice spot to walk. The AC didn't work in the room, and the hotel feels abandoned as you have to check in next door at the Elizabeth. You are able to use the amenities at the Elizabeth, but you have to be let in to everything every time, plus make the outside walk back to your room when finished. No daily maid service, has to be requested 24 hrs in advance.nive sized spacious room, but missing a coffee maker and other things. The window was barely visible, but good at letting all the afternoon heat in with no AC and 2 tiny opening windows.

The room had a microwave but. no coffeemaker. Cabinetry was full of gouges, holes etc. We discovered the property will be closed this fall for major remodeling, and was open due to shortsge of lodging in the area. It had been vacant for several years. Complementary breakfast was prepackaged stuff from the neighboring hotel. No channel guides fir the tv but wifi was provided.
