Hydrangea House provided a lot of charm and a great location for our stay in Newport. The Winter Garden suite is spacious and quiet located on the third floor. The bed and linens were very comfortable. The huge shower is an experience and the towel warmer was an added treat. The breakfasts were so hearty we didnt need to eat lunch and the cookies were a delicious treat that came with evening turn down service. All the staff were friendly and added to a very pleasant stay. Would stay again.

Great location; easy to walk to restaurants and the waterfront. A hearty breakfast every morning, with different choices every day ( no need to stop exploring/shopping for lunch). Tastefully decorated rooms, comfortable bed, good Wi-Fi ; cheese and wine at 4pm and freshly baked cookies every night- couldn’t ask for more. Eric and Kim were very helpful and gracious Plan to stay here on our next visit!

This was a very nice B&B in the heart of Newport, very close to shopping, bars, restaurants and the waterfront. We were there for the jazz festival and found it conveniently close for transportation.

The location was very convenient for walking everywhere. I found the breakfast good and enjoyed family style with other guests. The wine and cheese was a welcome on the return from the day. I stayed in the little red verandah room. The furniture outside was stained and dirty and the furnishings in the room were tire but imagined it as "historical". There is no view and the screen was torn on the so called patio door. The wall in the bathroom was repaired but not painted. I found this $$$ for the room The last night they brought up some burnt cookies

Great inn and location. It's a few blocks above the main downtown area, so it's quiet, but walking distance to all the shops. Next to the inn is a great coffee/bistro shop. And directly across the street is the Viking hotel, that has a restaurant, lounge and rooftop bar. The staff is wonderful! And the rooms are spacious.

This place is amazing. Kim, the innkeeper, is just delightful. We’ve stayed in two of her inns and it’s just the best. The breakfast was superb, the room was gorgeous, and they brought fresh baked chocolate chip cookies in the evening. We didn’t partake in the wine and cheese social but I’m sure it was just as wonderful. My husband and I have found our new getaway spot.
