This is a bare-bones venue. Don’t go in expecting too much and you won’t leave disappointed. Bed was comfy but the room was small and not very well laid out. The toilet/shower wasn’t maintained well and there was clear evidence of rust. I mainly booked it as I needed a spot to sleep while visiting Newcastle for a family gathering. Staff were friendly and professional. There was a breakfast buffet but I didn’t utilise it. The dining area was full of families staying overnight who seemed to enjoy it.

Enjoyed my stay recently. For a small room it was very clean, staff were absolutely amazing had a few minor issues but they got onto them straight away. Would definitely recommend for short stays.

The young lady at the counter was lovely and helpful. The room was clean, the bed comfortable. There was no remote for the tv which I addressed with the young lady that was fine though when I got in late that night I realised there was also no remote to control the heat so sleep was a little difficult. Otherwise everything was good.

Friendly and helpful staff but cleanliness was lacking. There were old blood stains on the doona and mould and dirt in multiple places in the shower. The flush button on the toilet needed a good scrub. Some of the breakfast dishes and cutlery did not look clean and plates were chipped and still wet. There was no cover on the cheese and ham put out for breakfast so the cheese was dry and inedible. There was a person coughing frequently in the breakfast room which was off putting. I guess, after all it is a budget hotel.

Clean room - young lady who checked us in was helpful and efficient. However the room we were in overlooked the highway-even though the windows were double glazed, the noise from the traffic was horrific! My advice would be to ask for a carpark side room. Don't bother with the breakfast either!
