We enjoyed the park very much. We also enjoyed the 1915 restaurant; the food is very good, and the service is as well. However, the hotel is not worth the price. To pay 300 dollars for 1 night and have a horrible smell and bad cleanliness.... Not my type of a good time. Hiking Coffe also a good place.👍 Food fresh and good!

Excellent accommodations and atmosphere. Nature lovers and hikers, come here! Our lodge was cute and clean, with amenities. Free coffee dollars! One recommendation I’d have for the BB Inn might be to improve food quality in the cafe. Restaurant and staff otherwise are excellent.

We stayed in one of the stone cottages and were given two keys to our room and only one of the two worked. Walls are pretty thin you could hear other people's conversations. The room itself was cozy and clean and has a romantic vibe making it an ideal location for a weekend getaway with your partner.

It’s an inn that you will think you time-traveled back to 1990s. Overall okay. If you like the nature, you will have a good time. I didn’t know if you book through Expedia, you will be assigned only to the “Overlook Lodge.” This is an older separated building and the water pressure is a bit weak. My wife also killed a BIG grasshopper that somehow got into our room. The other building looks much nicer.

The place is comfortable and has a beautiful view. However, instructions for check-in need to be clearer. Address on website takes you to rooms and check in is at least a 5 minute drive away. Then had to drive back to room for stay. Very confusing. Luckily, maitenance staff was driving there and directed us. When we returned other guests had the same issue and we directed them, there was not staff at site around to help. Should have check in on site at lodge.

A small room but a great location. Bed was comfortable and A/C worked well. A little noisy, since the rooms are close to each other. Can be a bit of a challenge to find the room we were staying in. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful and the room was clean.

Very lovely place nice and clean, but the rooms are extremely small and it’s controlled by central air outside the room. Which means all the rooms on your floor. I have to be at the same temperature if another room one hot or cold that’s exactly what Room would be which I found to be ridiculous. I’ve never understood thatI stayed in the summit section, but I booked for overlook so I’m not sure exactly how that worked out. Beautiful scenery wonderful staff very clean place.

I did not do any research because I did not expect to stay in the area, except for the expedia listing, and I have several major issues with this booking...This is a state park complex and facilities, and it was not at all clear that this building "The Lodge" is completely separate from the main Bear Mountain Inn and all the amenities. It is a half-mile walk to get a coffee from the hotel coffee shop. It is a beautiful walk after you get off the road and are down by the lake. The lodge lobby is a little run-down (and quite the disappointment after being in the main building); however, the room itself was actually very nice, with good linens and comfortable beds. Expedia also implies that the pool is part of the inn, so I was looking forward to a pool experience by that main beautiful building. The pool is also a walk from either the lodge or the main parking lot - is not a hotel pool and you have to pay for it. It is a great pool, but old school - the changing room is institutional. IF you stay in the lodge, make sure to go to the main building and explore - it is worth it!
