Didn’t know what to expect going to stay at this property, but felt safe, clean, and staff was helpful. Coffee in the morning during my stay and brownies! Staff double checked the room during check in to assure it was suffice.

For the rate and the short stay the hotel worked. I did bring my double sleeping bag and placed it on my bed. My room was clean. The floor was clean. Other than an older motel smell no foul orders.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 Stay! Had a fantastic experience at Oakridge Motel in Newaygo! The rooms were extremely clean, comfortable, and well maintained. You can tell the owners and staff genuinely care about the property and their guests. The service was friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Check-in was easy, the room had everything we needed, and the entire property felt quiet and comfortable. The location is also very convenient for exploring Newaygo and the surrounding area. For the price, the value is excellent. It’s refreshing to find a locally owned motel that puts this much effort into cleanliness, hospitality, and making guests feel at home. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend Oakridge Motel to anyone visiting Newaygo. 10/10 experience!

Room serviceable and reasonably clean. Staff perfunctory. This is a good location for me and compared to others in the area that are probably nicer but a lot more expensive, it is a good deal for me. The linens and towels were good. No coffee. That kitchenette they show is the deluxe room Other rooms have a small fridge and a microwave. Nice little table in the room.

This is a budget motel best suited for fishermen who just want a clean quiet room to sleep in. That's all I wanted, and that's all I paid for.

It's an older motel but not bad. Room was clean & had a fridge with decent freezer and microwave. Nothing fancy but a good place to sleep for the night.

Good for the price

Room was clean, a bit dated, but it was ok. Staff is friendly and helpful. It's the only affordable hotel in the area and I visit there quite often so I'll be staying there again soon.

No breakfast. No daily maid service. They will bring more towels if you ask and you put the old ones outside the room. If you want trash picked up put it outside the room. There was a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Desk staff provided a coffee maker upon request. Reasonable motel, comfortable enough. Excellent location.

The property and rooms were very clean; however, there were guests that did recreational marijuana across the hallway which made my experience less than pleasant.

The Oakridge is an older, refurbished hotel. It is clean and basic. It was all we were looking for, as we were out and about all the time. There is coffee in the lobby. No makers in the room, but had a microwave and fridge. We didn't mind. Would stay again for sure. Stayed x2 nights.

Id stay here again for this price. Small town 2 story concrete motel . Nothing fancy and has what you need . A roof over your head, a bed and a clean bathroom. Check in was easy staff was kind. For a room that cost less than $80 it was worth it for a biker like me who’s passing through on a cold/rainy night so i dont have to set up my tent somewhere. Dont expect no frills its a $80 room. Id recommend a rainy stop to any scooter kat passing through looking for a bed.

Clean, but no coffee maker in the room :(

It was clean and fairly quiet. It had a microwave and a mini fridge, but I wish they had a coffee maker. They have a coffee pot in the office but I had to ask them to make a pot last time I was there. I noticed there wasn't any made this time as well so just waited until we went to breakfast to get my coffee.

First of all, since the Cronk Family had to sell the Motel and their restaurant next door (during COVID), the new owners ran the Motel into the ground. The last three years, the service was acceptable; I forewarned other guests in Our Group (in from all over the Midwest for the Muskegon River Spey Fest, a large group of fly fishers that gathered for the weekend. The enclave was held at Henning Park on the banks of the Muskegon River) to bring their own soap and shampoo, for the toiletries that were provided were poor quality. Under this year's management (some kid who was constantly on his I Phone), we had to book through Expedia; I spoke to him early in the week, and He refused to book My room, telling Me to go through the website. I managed to find the a room to Expedia, and luckily I recieved a confirmation Email. We arrived at the check in time 1500, and I was told by this said "manager" that they were sold out. I had to show him the confirmation Email, and it took him 15 minutes to call around to confirm it. We were assigned Room 111. Upon checking in, their was a stench that the tried to cover up with a can of gel air freshener; recently. The beds were made, the linen/blankets were clean, and the carpet was vacuumed. Their was no hot water, and their was no soap, shampoo, or waste baskets in the room. When I went to the office, I was given a garbage bag in lieu of a waste basket. Photo is of bathroom vent. Hot water at midnight.

Clean room, quiet, felt safe- it is better than other motels I’ve stayed at. Free coffee in the office for daily guests. They do have a small breakfast bar with cereal for daily guests.
