Decent neighborhood and 3 min walk to subway, which includes the E line that makes it simple to get to jfk air rail. Breakfast was good and there is shops around. Rooms are old fashioned but clean and around the cheapest you may get in Manhattan

There were absolutely no complaints regarding this property and my 4 night stay. The room was as expected in size for NYC accommodations. The bathroom was very clean. The location is excellent with nearby subway stations. Very safe neighborhood and walkable. The hotel offers free WiFi and a plentiful breakfast with multiple options. The staff were warm and welcoming. I would not hesitate to stay at The Leo House again for any future travels to New York City!!

I have stayed at this inn before and each room is different. The room I had was better in terms of it being quieter (not facing busy 23 St.). This is an old building so it lacks noise reduction both from the street and within the building itself. Likewise, the electrical wiring is from another era and the A/C is loud. The amenities are bare bones. The very good features are its location--it is a very short walk to Penn Station. The breakfast room is very attractive and the food offered is continental fare but adequate. The chapel is beautiful and well worth a visit, and the small garden seating is pleasant too.
