The Fredrick Hotel was a beautiful property with so much character!! Comfortable lobby and location was perfect! All of the staff were so friendly and very helpful with inquiries we had. The breakfast was very delicious and we especially enjoyed the restaurants so closely accessible to the property! We will definitely be staying here again when we visit NYC!!

Really good location and the rooms were clean but the room was very small with no room to unpack anything . The bathroom was also small and you could basically touch all walls whilst standing in it. We had a window in the room and so was nice and light but very noisy at all times. We had to leave at 5am and noone on reception to help organise a taxi. Did supply bottles of water and there was a continental breakfast available that was good.

The hotel was a place of relaxation and a grand place to unwind, very homely, and full of hospitality of good chefs, helpful hotel clerks and wonderful housekeeping. Always plan ahead because rooms are always booked.

Great air-conditioning in the heat wave! I really liked the arrangement of the mirrors in the bathroom so you could get a 360° picture when trying on the bargains you bought in the Sales! Also a small make-up mirror. Breakfast and the bar and dining area seating was good and not crowded. Enjoyed our stay!

My boyfriend and I stayed one night at the Frederick in a premium king room, and we really enjoyed it. While the room was small, it was a good size for such a good location in NYC. It was very hot out while we were there, but the air conditioning unit was extremely effective. The robes and slippers in the room were also a nice comforting touch. Our breakfast at Serafina was very good as well. I have celiac disease, and I was very happy to see they had gluten-free bread that was separately wrapped, as well as other options made without gluten. Needless to say, the location was great, especially as there is a subway stop to the 1, 2, and 3 trains just steps from the front door. Would highly recommend staying here!

We chose this charming hotel for proximity to lower Manhattan points of interest -- Chinatown, Little Italy, World Trade Center, Financial District, Brooklyn Bridge, Hudson River Park, Whitney -- all walkable (if you like walking!). And there is a metro stop right outside the hotel. The hotel is small, the staff attentive and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The included buffet breakfast in the lovely cafe was a wonderful way to start the day. Both the hotel and area felt very safe -- tucked away from the hustle and bustle of uptown. I traveled with my teenager who enjoyed joining pickup soccer and basketball games nearby. We loved walking the Hudson River Park -- and played a few rounds of mini-golf as a break from touring. Highly recommend!

Amazing, kind staff that went above and beyond to make our trip special. They even took my note about our celebration for my friend's pregnancy and put a little surprise in our room. The Junior suite had 2 actual queen sized beds (rare in NYC) and was spacious to fit 3. Great location, close to the 1-2-3 subway, and free breakfast at Serafina. Will 100% be back!

Lovely boutique hotel set in a very convenient location close to the ferry for the Statue of Liberty, and close to the Freedom tower, 911 Memorial and Brooklyn Bridge. Lovely restaurants nearby and we had a very tasty buffet breakfast the next day, which was included. Rooms are small though.
