The location is close to the subway that runs north on Manhattan and provides access to Yankee Stadium, Times Square, and Central Park. The rooms are small, but most have balconies.

I enjoyed my 4-night stay at The Allen. The hotel is quiet, the staff were helpful and the bed was comfortable. There are plenty of good restaurants in the area, with Orchard Street being right behind the hotel.

The Allen Hotel is a tidy, comfortable, convenient and friendly place I love to stay in - on the Lower East Side. It is my hotel of choice. Not too big. They have everything I need. Love the balcony rooms.

You need to decide what kind of action you want to be in the center of. If it’s Times Square or UWS, look elsewhere. But if it’s in the heart of relevance and where those who live in the city go, this is the place. We love the Allen Hotel. The staff is the best, the neighborhood is happening, We will be back

This was a hotel that was very convenient for us. In a perfect location. The rooms are super small. The double beds were smaller than full beds. Initially I was disappointed, however by the time we left we were very happy. But if you have adults sharing a bed. It is very small. The hotel was very clean and staff was great.
