Hotel is in a great location! However, my room was poorly maintained. The bathroom door and knob were hanging off the hinges. The pillows smelled of mold and the complimentary breakfast was coffee and store bought muffins. There is no actual parking at this location. It’s paid parking across the street to shop at the mall.

Starlight is a small, simple hotel in the busy downtown of Flushing. The room was small and simple. Just enough room for two full beds and a TV. During the day there is a lot of street noise you can hear in the room, but at night it was peaceful and quiet. The enclosed rooftop area was a nice touch. We waited up there and had a cup of tea while they finished getting our room ready. Altogether it was a good experience.

Starlight Hotel is relatively close to LaGuardia. It is also next to a mall. The closest subway station is within half a mile. These were the reasons for opting to say at this place. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The reception desk had someone 24X7. It is also in a relatively quiet area of Flushing and within walkable distance to several chinese restaurants. There is no parking on site, but paid parking at the mall within walking distance.
