Staff were welcoming and friendly. The rooms were small but I knew that before I booked and we were hardly in it. They are spotlessly clean and surprisingly quiet. Really comfy bed and pillows and a great shower! I will definitely be booking again.

Excellent location, so close to grand central and walkable to lots of attractions. The first room I was in was very noisy because of either the main street or ventilation, but the staff was so helpful and changed the room for me. Room is not so spacious but way more enough for a solo traveller. Clean and comfortable. They also have free walking tours available which is good. I’ll stay in pod 39 again if I come back :)

Incredibly convenient Manhattan location near Grand Central and lots of other stuff. Small room is just fine for a home base, though bathroom privacy requires some honor system due to frosted glass at waist level only. No fridge, so plan your leftovers accordingly. Staff, room cleaning, front desk, etc. were all friendly and competent. Rooftop bar is really cool.
