Great location for getting around New York. There’s a subway station literally directly outside the front door. Good air conditioning which was helpful for an August visit. They will keep your bags locked up before check in and after check out.

So this property is going through new management. But even that being said, there is only 1 elevator working and as we found out through another guest which has been coming for years it has been so for a while. The best thing about this property is the location. It will do, clean enough, comfortable enough. But definitely not luxury. The price reflects the accommodations.

We stayed here for a few days and thoroughly enjoyed our trip! Staff was friendly and went out of the way to help us with printing our train tickets at the end of our stay. Room was clean, nice view, just what we needed to recuperate after long days of exploring the city. We visited during a heat wave and found ourselves coming back during midday to cool down in the AC and refresh. The location is right next to the Canal St. train station and very accessible for catching the A, C, and E trains. Thank you so much AMTD staff for a great stay!

Great property overall! Like others have mentioned, the theormast didn't work so AC ran all night. Also, only had 1 elevator in operation when I stayed, and it was during a busy weekend. Despite these flaws, the location cannot be beat as it's right near the subway and very quite at night. Would definitely stay again at the price that I paid for NYC!
