WE really enjoyed The Freehand. Location was perfect, easy to get to Union Sq, East Village, LES, Soho, Central Park by walking or nearby trains. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the vibe was all fun and festive, we had a great room, great coffee downstairs, and a cool rooftop bar. We'd definitely stay again.

I stay here every couple weeks a month since the beginning of this year. Not on business, but for a staycation. The staff ( front desk) are amazing and they always make me feel welcome! The breakfast cafe and Patsys Italian restaurant which are part of the hotel interior are great!

The staff are very nice and thoughtful. The front desk is great and gave us a corner suite so we can enjoy two side view! I would say only the suite carpet is an issue to us, other than that, all fabulous!
