The hotel is okay for the price. Room was clean and cool and the beds were comfortable. Shower worked, but the shower curtains broke off while using them and the lock on our door didn’t even work. If we were staying longer than a night we probably would have looked elsewhere

There are nice amenities here, like a large coworking space with a fridge and freezer. However the elevator broke on the last day of my stay, not long before check out time and I am mobility disabled. There were other customers who use mobility devices who were stuck on our floor as well. It’s a good place for able bodied solo travelers

Pros: - Clean room for a decent price - Comfortable bed - Great Chinese food all around the hotel Cons: - Only a tiny bedside table in the room, so there is no place to put stuff aside from the floor - Lots of hallway noise late at night (bring earplugs) - Window A/C unit was loud

The hotel was convenient to Chinatown as we were celebrating Chinese New Year. We even found street parking right in front of the hotel!. Great location and clean hotel. We would stay there again.

It's a good hotel when you want to go about your business. It serves its purpose if you're visiting for a short stay and it's in a convenient location. I felt safe, everyone just minds their business but there if you need help. Everything about the stay was simple, check in/check out, requesting towels, and the room itself. The shower water pressure was HIGH and like you were on a water ride but it did it'] s job. Thank you "Canal Loft Hotel" for having us!

They over booked and we lost our room with 2 beds we had to settle with a single bed room. They comp'd us the $15 fee which was nice. Also no toilet paper or amenities in the room needed to request these. Room had good AC, clean and a working tv. So not too bad

Good location, reasonable price. Room cleaned with bed linens and towels changed every two days. There was no hand soap, the lighting was poor, there were no luggage racks for our suitcases. There is a food transfer business next door that operates in the street below the north windows that is very noisy. There are sirens from the Fire Dragons unit of the fire department on the next block.

Property was fine, this was a last minute booking for my party so this was the option we had that wasn’t going to be overly expensive. Im from manhattan originally and would much prefer being a bit more uptown nothing wrong with china town, plenty of places to eat for a good price. Staff were nice, rooms were fair no complaint really. We only used the place to sleep. If you plan on just using the place to sleep this will be great. Our last two days there was no WiFi. Downside was not having a fridge in the room. Bathroom in our room was great it was as big as the sleeping area. Air conditioning works great! Overall it’s a fine place it’s nothing special if you’re young and want to visit the city on a budget this would be a good stopping ground. I would not roam in this area at night alone as a woman especially down Forsyth at night alone as a woman especially and if you’re not familiar with this city. My advisory to tourist. Check out Empanada Mama down Allen for late night drinks and food, go to super taste noodle around the corner and across the building, and Yunan Rice noodle as well, some quick and really good cheap food near by.
