We loved our stay at Rathbone Mansions in New Orleans. The staff was great and we were well cared for. It was conveniently located to everything we need to be at. Our entire family was in the same area. Our grandchildren especially loved the pool.

The staff was very helpful and very accommodating; super easy check in process. Be warned that not all of the rooms have historic charm. The lighting in the bathroom is horrible for ladies who want to see themselves to apply makeup. If you don't expect all the comforts of a normal hotel, you won't be disappointed (bath mat, multiple bedside table lamps, etc.). Great location to our favorite "sleepy" side of the quarter.

Excellent location - beautiful spot just a short walk from everything. Friendly staff that accommodated our dog with no issues; it was great to be in a room by the courtyard so we could take Peanut outside easily. The room was cute and comfortable. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We cannot wait to come back to NOLA and we know just where to stay again next time!

My partner, her sisters, and I stayed at Rathbone Mansions over Fourth of July weekend for my 30th birthday, and we absolutely loved it! From the moment we arrived, we fell in love with the charm and character of the property. The staff were incredibly sweet and accommodating, and they made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our stay. We stayed in the balcony room, and it was spectacular. It was surprisingly quiet, and the room itself was stunning. The "balcony door" was actually one large window that you pull up to open, which only added to the unique charm of the mansion. The bathroom was fully remodeled and absolutely beautiful. We also really enjoyed the pool area. It was relaxing and had the same charming, historic feel as the rest of the property. The only thing I'd mention is that it's a bit of a walk to the French Quarter. We're probably slower walkers, but it took us about 15–20 minutes to get to most places, so we ended up using Uber quite a bit. That said, it wasn't a dealbreaker at all. Overall, Rathbone Mansions was the perfect place to celebrate my 30th birthday, and we will absolutely be back!

We had the whole lovely courtyard to ourselves every evening and the whole place felt like apartments more than a hotel. Staff were fast to respond and helpful. The property is historic and my room was a bit musty smelling but our stay was a success. We walked to the French Quarter in 5 min and there were convenience stores and a few restaurants just a few blocks away.
