Beautiful old mansion in a location perfect for the FQ and Marigny corridor. The pool is really nice. Breakfast is basic but enough and it’s also close to coffee shops and a good bakery. Staff is super friendly . Definitely a great landing pad for a NOLA visit. We will be back.

We loved our stay at Melrose Mansion and would absolutely stay there again and look forward to returning! The room was beautiful and clean, the included breakfast was great with lots of options, the pool and outside grounds were absolutely beautiful! The staff were amazing and very helpful, especially Emily who told us a lot of the history of the hotel and the city and made suggestions of where to visit on our trip! Thank you Emily for everything we look forward to seeing you all again!

We had an amazing stay at Melrose! Emily welcomed us and was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our visit. She gave us great recommendations for places to see and restaurants to try, and every time we saw her, she made sure to ask if we needed anything. The entire staff was always very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was also perfect, simple, convenient, and exactly what you need before heading out to explore the city. I would definitely stay at Melrose again. What really made our experience special was how warm and welcoming everyone was with us. We truly felt at home during our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Melrose Mansion. Emily and Amanda were absolutely fantastic; they were both so friendly, sweet and accommodating. The AC was out in the room we originally booked but they called in advance to inform us and upon arrival they put us in a better room and even upgraded us to one of their best suites for the last few days of our trip. If you’re looking for a place to stay with a ton of history and exceptional staff this place will not disappoint!

We love the location ,10 minutes walk to French Quarter ,15 minutes walk to Jackson Quare & Cafe Dumonde ,French Market, the room is clean ,roomier,we have a suite with microwave, stove , ,refrigerator even washer & dryer ,the staff is friendly and helpful,free breakfast,we stay there 3 nights,will be back there in the future ,parking is 45 plus tax per days ,if you don’t travel to far I would not rent a car , just uber or walking is more convenient because if you have your own car or rental car , you need to pay for parking, average $3 per hour ,overall we like the Melrose Mansion a lot will definitely be back

We had a great experience at this Hotel! Emily was such an amazing hostess and gave us amazing list of recommendations. She was extremely accommodating and was a fun and informative conversation. The hotel was beautiful and well maintained considering it is a historical building. We would definitely comeback to stay again in the future.

Great location between Marigny/the French Quarter withing walking distance to Frenchman and Bourbon Streets. Staff was very friendly, rooms were clean and comfortable and the property really had that quintessential New Orleans feel to it.
