Property location is within walking distance to the Superdome. Cable car stops right across the street providing easy access to the insanity on Bourbon Street, and a few blocks from the sanity of Magazine Steet. Room was very comfortable and staff was very informative.

Loved the location and the renovations that the property made. The rooms were clean and well designed except for the bathrooms in the two rooms our group had. Additional hooks would be helpful, as well as more space to set things on or above the sink and something to put soap and shampoo in, in the shower would be more convenient. Otherwise the staff were great and brought our luggage up when we arrived and always responded quickly to requests for additional items like paper products, towels and blankets. Would definitely stay there again! Was VERY convenient on the St. Charles street car line with stops right out front. Buy the Jazzy Pass if you stay here!

The Carriage House was beautiful! Our room was lovely and very clean. It’s on St, Charles and has a streetcar stop right in front of the building, which made it convenient to explore the city. We were able to get streetcar passes directly from the front desk, which was super helpful. It’s also close to Magazine Street where there is wonderful shopping, and there are some restaurants close by as well. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We arrived very early in the morning and they were able to store our luggage for us while we explored New Orleans. They called us in the afternoon when our room was ready, and even placed our luggage in the room for us. One of the things we found quirky, was the bathroom light never turned off, so we just closed the door, which was not a problem. This hotel seems to be newly renovated and is absolutely gorgeous. We enjoyed our stay there very much.

Helpful and friendly staff. Great with offering advice about dining and entertainment options. Held our bags for us on our last day so we could have one last New Orleans afternoon visiting the area and the WWII Museum before heading to the airport. Room was clean, historically attractive and yet also had modern updates and amenities to include a mini-fridge. Bathroom bright and roomy. Bed, linens and pillows all contributed to a full night’s sleep. Though right on Saint Charles in the Lower Garden District, surprisingly quiet evenings with fun just a hop away on the convenient Saint Charles streetcar.
