Since I didn't want to be extorted I left and had to find another hotel in rural PA to spend the night. As a woman travelling alone this was not a pleasant experience and I believe hotels.com should remove this property from their listings for this unethical...

“Our first-floor room was pleasant and comfortable, though a little small for extended stay. It is a villa style, so the door opened to the outside. The overall layout is nice, but exterior condition of the walks made it obvious that it has been around for a while. The perimeter road desperately needs repaving--lots of potholes. We watched pool being maintained while we were there, but the "pool closed" signed had been up for so long they were starting to deteriorate. The staff was pleasant to...

“Nothing was as shown or described. There was no TV to watch . There was a small flat screen TV that sat on a small coffee table, unplugged, with no where to plug it in. There was only one outlet in the entire room, which had an old tiny mini refrigerator plugged in and so that I could plug in my phone charger. The room was not even the room advertised. “This is a rural hotel. Not much nearby. However, we loved our stay. Unfortunately we were only there 1 night. Appeared to be an excellent place to relax for a few days. In house restaurant was very good. If looking for a nice place to relax, I definitely recommend. I'm hoping I have an opportunity to stay there again sometime.”
