Room was nice and clean, staff welcoming. The hotel has a restaurant which was convenient. Breakfast was available for a fee. Parking is also free. Just the location is not that great as it is on a main street. We had a room facing the busy street, therefore, the night was not really quiet. But anything else was fine and it is a good hotel.

Good hotel choice for Nelson. Clean and comfortable. Great little restaurant out the front. Well positioned near local shops and a short drive into the CBD. Only issues were a couple of lights not working and a noisy / rattling air conditioner. I'd stay here again and I recommend the accommodation.

It was a very cold and wet few days in Nelson for us, but we had a good stay at The Hotel Nelson. We booked the 1 bedroom apartment which was a very generously spacious size for 3 adults! It was very cold out, but we got the heating fan cranked up and running and enjoyed the extra blankets for a comfortable stay. Kitchen facilities looked very good if you wanted to self cater. It was clean and comfortable and all good for our needs. Our first night was less wet and we easily walked down to the township and back *Were so lucky to stumble across the Nelson Light Festival that night which was cool! Thank you for the stay.
