Fabulous stay at the Grotta hotel in Naxos, we would absolutely stay with them if we come to Naxos again. Wonderful breakfast buffet included beats any we have had all over the world. Beautiful views, fabulous hospitality an authentic Greek experience!

The hotel is located on top of a small cliff over Grotta Beach, so you can enjoy unique sunsets over the Temple of Apollo (Portara). Also the rear access to the Castle elevator are 10 min walking from the Hotel. Service and facilities are immaculate

The hotel was in a perfect location, and the view alone made the stay worthwhile—especially from the rooftop lounge. A scenic shortcut along the water leads directly to town and the port, which was incredibly convenient. We also greatly appreciated the complimentary shuttle to the ferry, particularly in the heat. The breakfast buffet was another highlight offering a delicious variety of homemade dishes. Every day featured a new spread so be sure to sample a little of everything each time!

We loved our stay at the Grotta hotel! We were picked up by the port by a friendly staff member, welcomed with a welcome drink and snack and were pleasantly surprised by the incredible sea views upon arriving. The hotel property and rooms were very clean and well maintained. A highlight of this hotel is the amazing complimentary breakfast - they have plenty of delicious and fresh options! Also, it is a short walk down a path on the hill into town. We had a perfect stay. Thank you Grotta hotel!

An amazing stay, there's nothing not to like. The staff are so friendly and helpful. There is free transport to the port which was very useful. It is close to all the restaurants and bars but far enough away so we didn't hear any noise. We had a room with a view of the sunset which was stunning. The breakfast is incredible, so many choices and every one of them delicious. We were given a welcome drink on arrival and our luggage was taken to our room. It was my partners birthday while we were there and they left a bottle of wine and a card for him in the room. We felt welcome from the second we arrived to the second we left.

The staff at Hotel Grotta were phenomenal! Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming, including our driver, Dimitri. Both the morning and evening staff were very helpful, and they even helped us choose the perfect beach to visit the next day. The hotel also lends parasols to guests, which was such a thoughtful touch. Complimentary tea and coffee are available until 5:00 p.m., and the breakfast was absolutely delicious, with plenty of vegan options and even desserts! Guests can also reserve the private pool, spa, and sauna for a relaxing 30-minute session by making an appointment at the front desk. We really enjoyed the experience, and the entire spa area was beautifully maintained. The whole property was exceptionally clean. I often saw the housekeeping staff working from early in the morning, and their attention to detail truly showed. We had such a wonderful and relaxing stay and would happily return!

From the moment of arrival to the day of departure the staff at the Grotta Hotel were superb! They offered transfer to and from the port, an incredibly delicious and freshly made spread of breakfast foods, and the spa amenities were a lovely little bonus. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable, as were the rest of the premises. Our only wish is that we had stayed longer!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It's located just a few minutes from the port and offers a complimentary transfer, which made our arrival and departure completely stress-free. The hotel also has convenient parking for our rental car. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the authentic Naxian breakfast, featuring delicious local specialties. Enjoying breakfast each morning with beautiful views of the ocean and the iconic Portara was a perfect way to start the day. The location is excellent—close enough to walk to town in about 10 minutes, yet far enough away to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Naxos.

This is a really great Hotel at an incredible price. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. The included breakfast is incredible. The rooms are spotlessly clean and well appointed. Great bed and linens. The hotel is owned by the same people who own the Olive Mill Museum- and it is a must see and taste for all things olive. Location is perfect for walking to town and major sites. This place is a real find.

Great stay! The staff was amazing—very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time. The hotel is less than a 10‑minute walk from Naxos Town and the port and offers beautiful sea views. The staff also helped us book a rental car, which made everything easy. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended.

Our stay at the Hotel Grotta Hotel was excellent. The staff was helpful, pleasant and always in a good mood. The breakfast was plentiful, divers and delicious. Transfer was free and offered a welcome drink while they brought our suitcases to our room. Location is just above port. Highly recommend .
