A lovely hotel with totally wonderful staff. Really well located near all the restaurants. Only drawback is that breakfast needs a few more options. By Day 5 (you’ll need that many days to properly see the Park and the area), you really need some variation. Perhaps it’s more varied in summer (this was an off-season stay.)

We had a large suite with direct lake views, although as hotel is on the only main, coast road, it can be quite noisy during the day. Room very nice and can see the other rooms quite a bit smaller. Food good

The staff were exceptional and very helpful. The hotel has a beautiful view of the mountains and water. There is a wonderful path to walk along the waterfront right across the street. Breakfast had lots of variety and many great restaurants are close by.

The rooms have no sound barriers. You can hear every vehicle that passes in front of the hotel and everyone walking down the hall. The key cards on worked once and then we had to keep going to the font desk to have them reactivated. The ocean view was spectacular!

Rooms were clean and bed/pillows all of good quality. Breakfast started at 5.30am which is perfect for all the early starts with the treks and nearby trips. It’s a shame there are no other facilities to make it feel a little bit more luxury like a pool. View from our window was a construction site so not the best! Disappointing to not know this before staying as i think we would have booked elsewhere as we needed a relaxing day before starting the w trek but found it hard to relax in our room!
