Great choice for families! Parking right in front of the door made loading and unloading luggage effortless. The room, linens, and bathroom were exceptionally clean, and the large TV was a huge hit with the kids.

Room was clean. No daily housekeeping and We took our own garbage out daily. Beds comfy. Rooms quiet. Had to cross the Hwy to use the Free mini golf but worth it. Close to food and amenities. We stayed for 3 nights. They would really benefit from offering an included breakfast. But all in all a nice stay.

Very nicely renovated motel, our room was very spacious, the staff is helpful and hard working. The kitchen could use a few more items like a toaster, but they did have one we were able to borrow from the lobby. Free mini golf was a nice bonus too. I highly recommend staying here.

The staff were amazing and hard working. But the hotel was extremely overpriced based on limited vacancies in the area. They really took advantage of this. Cleaning staff did not clean the room and the office people were constantly trying to deal with a lack of supplies and missed cleaning. For the extreme price, this was very bad. Felt bad for the hard working, nice people having to deal with this.

The family suit was very spacious. Check in was quick and easy and the property was very dog friendly. We enjoyed the free mini golf and being so close to the Beach. The room amenities were very basic. No regular coffee, weird toilet paper. No low lighting/lamps only very bright overhead highlighting. Also, so water bottle fill station onsite. Overall, a great value in Parksville if you aren’t too caught up in the small details.

I brought no car, but other people staying seemed happy with parking situation, and the security was fine, kids were out playing . I asked staff for extra coffee, they brought it to my room, the staff seemed personable and professional and kind. I highly recommend this place, and people! That’s for the hospitality and your hard work

Pros: staff were very friendly and accommodated early check-in. Kids loved the free mini golf. Cons: we booked a non-smoking room and the room had a heavy smoke/musty smell. Our child’s feet were very dirty after crawling on the floor for a few minutes. We bought cleaning wipes and air freshener to use to be comfortable for the night. Would not recommend for families staying with young children.

The staff were super friendly and responsive and the room was immaculately clean. We are seniors and my husband has mobility challenges, and we thoroughly enjoyed the height and comfort of the king size platform bed and the beautiful, roomy walk in rain shower. Wish I could have brought both home with us! The toilet is low if you have mobility issues and don't forget your hairdryer (we did) because there isn't one in the room. A few other tweaks would be nice to have - a coat rack on the wall for hanging clothes and lights on both sides of the bed (instead of just one) would be helpful additions. But there are plenty of drawers and the room is spacious and comfortable with a with a convenient kitchenette and fantastic location. We definitely recommend and will gladly stay there again.
