Notre chambre comportait une cuisinette avec un grand frigidaire. Nous avons apprécié. C’était propre et assez spatieux. Nous recommandons cet endroit. Très bonne qualite/prix.

The lady at the front end office was very nice and accomodating. I was traveling with my sister and my 3 year old nephew. Whe had planned to stay for a few nights. Upon arrival their boiler blew and therefore was no hot water. We were told we can stay the night for free and she gave us a full refund I didn't expact her to do that but I apprecaited it very much! Will definity stay there again when we come to vancouver island. Very clean, comfortable beds and well worth the price.

A group of us had reserved our rooms in March for our stay in Sept. we all requested rooms on the ground floor. When we arrived only 1/2 of us got ground floor rooms. In our room there was no soap bars, no shampoo or conditioner, no dish soap. We had a kitchenette room - no kettle, no wine glasses, no salt or pepper, very little pots that were dirty. The shower was an unstable temperature- hot then cold then hot again. The motel is on a very very noisy street & traffic noise was really bad! Would not recommend this place at all.

We had reserved rooms at a lower level because we had e-bikes three months earlier and upon arrival some of our group ended up on upper level. The hot water was too hot. Water temperature would change on its own during a shower.

Save your sanity and do not stay here. Not only were the pictures misleading, but it was also unsafe and the customer service was terrible. There were some very unsavoury characters hanging around right next to our motel. Another scary individual yelled obscenities to me and my kids. My kids were scared and in tears. I went to talk to management about the situation and the unsavoury character who was lurking around the corner entered into our hotel room before I had even checked out! 😬When I told this to management, they were dismissive. When I asked for a refund, saying that I was checking out as it was not safe, they said they would call back in a couple of days after they talked to the owner—of course i never received a phone call from the manager or owner. We left at 9:30 at night after having checked in 30 minutes prior. We safely and happily stayed at the Ramada that evening.

We had a 1 bedroom suite with a mini kitchen which was nice for us. It is an older motel but was clean and staff was very friendly. We enjoyed our stay and would go back again.

It was the cheapest place I could find in Nanaimo. It was clean and it had AC (it was quite warm). Good for a quick, overnight stay, not too long. Short walk to McDonald's for Brekkie was a plus.

Older motel, but our room had been updated and the bathroom looked fairly new. Good for a quick one night stop. Welcomes dogs and only a $10.00 fee which was appreciated. O

We were just heading home from fishing and had a cooler full of frozen salmon that needed a fridge. We found this motel when we searched for a kitchenette. The online photo looked nice full fridge somewhat updated it was good. Then we got there….. our room was NOT the room in the photo. The fridge was an oversized bar fridge that wouldn’t hold a loaf of bread never mind the fish we needed to keep frozen. The kitchen was nasty and the bathroom!!! The grout was busted out from the tiles and there were toenail clippings and bugs in there. The bathroom mirror had what looked like toothpaste spray on it. The floors definitely needed to be redone and the walls were pretty beat up. Had it not been for the fact that the manager happened to have a newer full clean fridge with freezer in a unit that was being upgraded that he generously let us use we never would have stayed. The smell in the room that they tried to hide with an air freshener as well..can’t even describe it. Like I said if not for the freezer we would have felt cleaner sleeping on a park bench. Do not recommend!!

This facility was surprisingly quite given it's proximity to a busy hiway. My room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Definitely a good place to stay for a night or two.

Overall, a good stay for the price! The staff were accommodating, friendly, and very nice, which I really appreciated. The breakfast was also good, with plenty of choices. However, the breakfast menu was the same every day, so it would be nice to have different options each day. One downside was the smell. The place had a noticeable smoky odor, and the garage could have been cleaner. Despite that, I think the place is good value for the price. What I liked most was the location—it’s only about a 5-minute walk to the beach, which was a big plus for me. Overall, it was a good experience, and I’d consider staying here again.
