For some reason my booking came through as a one bed suite which isn't what I wanted. Even tho the place was fully booked he went out of his way to talk to another guest who just arrived and was able to arrange a trade of rooms so we could have the 2 beds we needed. He was very kind and helpful. I've stayed here many times and have recommended it to my family and friends who've also stayed and enjoyed it. It's reasonable prices, close to everything you need. Not fancy but has always been clean and comfortable.

This was a reasonably priced option for what I needed. The little kitchenette was adequately stocked and the fridge worked well. On the surface it was very clean but I discovered that under the bed was a neglected dust and crumb venue much to my dismay. I find that many places don't pay attention to the "out of site" spots. I found the staff friendly - I didn't require much from them other than check in and out. It was a relatively quiet spot with eateries close by and in walking distance.

The room was way cleaner and more beautiful than the outside look let us think. We had enough room, it was well located, near the beach and the restaurants. We enjoyed our stay. The A/C was a bit noisy, but very efficient so we just had to turn it on for a few minutes and we were ok for the night.

The host was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. With 2 small children, 1 & 4, I was hoping to get something on the ground floor. He accommodated my request without any hesitation. The room was clean and had the stated amenities. The bathroom was very small making it a bit of a challenge to bathe the kids and to assist the 4 year old when she used the toilet. Other than that I feel it was worth the money spent.

We were aware of the Skylite Motel from past visits to family in Parksville. But when an urgent trip was required, it became the accomodation of last resort on one of the busiest weekends of the year in this community. And it was a pleasant surprise. Comfy beds. Quiet surroundings. Helpful staff. Although it was a difficult trip, the Skylite was a bright spot.
