The property was better than expected. It is an older property but was good considering it is a beach property so guests are at the beach a lot, which brings sand. The staff vacuums and cleans regularly so tidy.

The property manager was very helpful and went above and beyond to help me with the TV in my room. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful as well. The room was clean but the hallway carpet just outside of my room could use a good professional carpet cleaning, to help with the smell. Pool area was clean and having the games by the front desk area was very accommodating for guests with children.

I thought the room rate was very high. The floors were gritty and the bathroom had a bar of soap and nothing else like shampoo etc. no breakfast offered as so many hotels offer now.

The front desk staff was very friendly, the pet fee was very low compared to other places, and the rooms were fairly clean. We only stayed for one night on our way out of town, and it wasn't bad at all. It's not a five star hotel by any means but it is a nice place to stay when you're in a pinch, especially if you have kids who loves swimming and a pet with you. We had initially booked a room and learned that there was no fridge or anything in the room, and the front desk was happy to help us get a room that had a fridge so we could keep our drinks and stuff cooled off for our last night at Myrtle beach. I wouldn't recommend it if you are a clean freak, because some of the corners of the room and the caulk in the bathroom are a little musty and dirty, but I wasn't expecting the Sheraton when I spoke to the room for the night. Not bad at all.

I liked the older, more residential setting of this RRI. Parking was fine.As an 'econo' hotel I think it has fewer amenities than larger, more expensive hotels. I was offered a mini-fridge & microwave but declined them for my 2-night stay w/minimal hotel time (tho' might've liked a little continental b'fast in addition to ~fair coffee). I did appreciate excellent working AC , good, clean hot H2O showers, & a very comfortable Q-bed ! And staff were courteous & friendly(2 diff't desk clerks & the housekeeper who would be cleaning my room after I left). Thank you !

Check in was easy. Location was super convenient just 5 minutes from the airport and 2 blocks from the beach. The hotel was surprisingly quiet for being so busy. As a solo traveler I appreciated that you need a key card to access the interior of the hotel itself. The building itself is in need of renovation, it’s very outdated and many pieces of walls need to be repaired. Despite this I’d stay here again.
