We loved our second time at the Avista. The condo, amenities and especially our favourite staff member Coach. We also want to thank Bryan for going above and beyond to store our luggage and the girl working the restaurant the evening of 26/08/26 for giving us sugar packets as we ran out on our last night.

Perfect apart from a few bad refurbishments in the bathroom. Whoever did the referb job is an idiot. Other than that, the room was great, staff was great and the property is great. You do have to park across the street as well. Great resort 5/5! Best I've been to on the Grand Strand so far.

This resort was exactly what we were looking for. Our room had a kitchen with stove refrigerator microwave and dishwasher which was super helpful. Our king size bed was the perfect size for our little family. The living room had ample room to relax our hoards of stuff. The bathroom even had a jacuzzi tub! The balcony overlooked the ocean which was beautiful. The elevators were fast and the 30 second walk between the pool and ocean was amazing!

We booked having no clue about North Myrtle Beach or the area, and the gamble was worth it. While not a 5-star resort, the Avista has a great location and beach access and close enough to restaurants and attractions to make it worth it. I would recommend one of the ocean front rooms higher up the building (greater than floor 8).

Room was very clean. Parking was kind of a hassle since the garage was down the block and across the street. Rooms were clean but a little dated. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Didn’t get to use the pool area because it was so busy & people were coming down early and “saving” all the pool loungers.

We have found a new favorite place to stay in North Myrtle Beach. Hotel room provided included clean and well stocked accommodations for our stay. Access to pools and beach as well as safety with parking were top-notch as well. Very family oriented, and loved the activities provided by the hotel for both children and adults. We will definitely be staying there again in the near future while visiting North Myrtle.

I loved how friendly everyone was not just staff but in general. My only complaint would be the amount of times we would be outside on our balcony and all you could smell was marijuna. So we would have to go back inside. One morning it was all you could smell on the floor when walking to elevator. Other than that I give it 5 stars.
