Vacations Close To Stedelijk Museum Schiedam

We arrived with a Tower room booking, they downgraded us without any refund to a disaster of a room…way too old and unbearably hot! Not to mention we had to take the suitcases and baggage up and down the stairs before we reached the elevator!!! Another thing that was not great was that they have you self check-in like a motel, to me that’s not a luxury service or a four star hotel. Out of the 6 hotels we stayed at as we travelled town to town, they were the only ones that said the room is ready but pay extra to get it despite me having a health issue and travelling with a pet who needed to eat and rest, do not recommend! We decided to move to another hotel in the end, the girl at the front desk told us we downgraded you because of the pet, I said but you should not have said you are pet friendly hotel in that case and she responded well, I’m telling you now! And I responded with and I’m telling you that I’m moving to a decent hotel. We ended up being close to everything in the center with only a small price difference. This hotel is out of the way and far to all attractions as well. Do not recommend at all.
