Only thing that when we arrived to the room wasn’t clean but the rest super nice

Planet Hollywood is our go-to in Vegas, but this stay was just "Meh". Made reservations for adjoining rooms with our friends, but beware......do NOT check in at a kiosk if you have a "note" attached to your reservation, as that "note" will not be honored at the kiosk. Would have been very helpful to have known that at the time! We did not get adjoining rooms with our friends. We weren't on the same floor. In fact, we couldn't even use the same elevators! The staff offered to give us a room closer to our friends, so we changed. It wasn't adjoining, it was a much smaller room, but it was on the same floor as they were. BUT we were next to the elevators, and it sounded like we were staying on the runway at the airport! There is little to no sound insulation, and the sound of the cars going up and down all day and all night was more than unsettling and provided a horrible sleeping/napping environment. There was also a big patch of something sticky on the carpet that I stepped in every time I got near the bed, so I just covered it with a towel. In fairness, someone from the hotel called on our last night there and offered a $100 voucher to each of us for food and drink inside the casino. We enjoyed a nice dinner on them, but the whole experience just wasn't at all what we expected from Planet Hollywood. It's a handy place to stay, so we'll probably be back on our next trip, but I won't be checking in at the kiosk again, and I will make sure we're nowhere near the elevators!

The room was remodeled and it was attractive, comfortable and clean. However, for a newly remodeled room presumably to reflect the form and fashion of this time, two things stuck out in a puzzling and negative way; 1. The television had to be at least 15 years old. I know this because I had the same television, and was thrilled to buy it, 15 years ago. It was a relatively small (by today’s standards) PLASMA. Plasma technology is legacy technology and has been a relic for many years for good reason. With the current price point of LCDs today, it is a curious decision to not upgrade the television during a remodel. It does detract from the aesthetic. 2. There were absolutely no accessible power outlets near the bed. Again, in this day and age, we are so dependent on devices and it is a basic part of life to charge devices while we sleep and to have them near us. It was unsettling to have to leave devices far across the room in order to charge them.

Appreciated the early check in after an early morning flight! Staff were friendly and helpful, hotel was well maintained and the room was huge. Only downside was the adults only pool closure.

In the middle of the strip which makes it nice to get to other places. The speakeasies here are so cool! Great food! Clean rooms.
