Great staff and a very nice property for the price point. The breakfast was great (additional pay that I opted for). I did like the hot springs on the 2nd floor, was a perfect treat after a long day. there isn’t much going on in the area in general, nothing wrong with it, but just a small town with no frills.

I had a room with seaview of the Pacific Ocean that let me catch the winter sunrise throughout the stay. Quiet neighbourhood with good accessibility to Higashi Muroran JR Station, convenience stores and eateries. Has all the facilities needed of a hotel spring hotel in a nutshell. Many pleasant surprises awaited us in the form of free services and treats. A must to book the package with breakfast included as it offers a healthy menu that is simple and delicious; nothing extravagant at all and befitting to a hot spring hotel.

Higashi Muroran stay.

Excellent second choice, if you want to stay away from Noboribetsu, which by the way it’s only 12 minutes away by train with almost hourly connections. Hotel itself faultless with very courteous staff! 6-8 minutes walk to station. Word of warning though, the place itself ( Higashi Muroran) is extremely quiet, nothing to do there!
