This is a great hotel. It is right in the old town and has everything that you could possibly need including gym, coffee shop near the reception and good clean room. The rooms are small but they are clean and the location can not be beat.

The hotel is in an ideal location to explore the old town and beyond by foot, but still quiet despite the central location. The bathroom was modern with a great shower. We were grateful to be offered a very early check in after travelling for over 24hrs.

The hotel is in the heart of Munich and that was a huge plus for us. The hotel staff were super friendly and helpful. We did not initially purchase the room with breakfast but ended up having breakfast there everyday because it was really great with lots of healthy options. If we visit Munich again we will definitely stay at Platzl Hotel.

We stayed in a suite which was very spacious, my only negative comment would be about the lack of storage in the bathroom for our toiletries. They supplied GHD hairdryer, straighteners and curling tongs. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The location is excellent right in the city centre. If you love Munich this is definitely a hotel that I would recommend for you to try, staff are friendly and helpful and the bed is wonderful and we both had a very good sleep.
