Easy check in, staff very friendly, the room was clean, nice seating area and the kitchenette was clean and we had everything we needed to cook a meal. On the last day they keep our luggage free of charge so we could make some last minute shopping. If back in Munich I'll be staying here again.

I loved our hotel and our room—I think it was worth the price and it felt like they were very attentive to our needs. We were also a big group and they were very accommodating about that. It’s also in a great location and right across from a beautiful church. Would definitely stay here again.

I cannot but say wow! The location, accessibility, cleanliness and above all, the friendliness is superb. I actually had an issue the night before checking out where I forgot my Passport in the uber drive. The reception stayed up all night and helped me for over three hours till the issue was resolved. The facilities are perfect and the staff is absolutely off the charts! I’d recommend staying there to everyone!

Excellent property with an amazing studio and comfortable bar. Great facilities for tourists, business travellers, and digital nomads. Only drawback was that there was no air conditioning which made sleeping during the heatwave difficult.

Great location for transport and food. Apartment was as described. Lucky to get 4th floor with balcony unfortunately no roof when it rained. Suggestions to improve give appliance guidance on check in. Overall very good. Would certainly come back and look forward to trying other Schwann Locke properties as we travel around the world

Very clean hotel. Large breakfast buffet with hot items, bakery items, and yogurt bowls. We received early check in because our room was available upon our arrival, and baggage storage appeared safe and secure in locked closets for guests whose rooms aren’t ready.

The room was very clean and large enough to accommodate the 3 of us. We had a very large balcony that was awesome. We asked for and received a fan since we were on the top floor (6th). I thought it was interesting that we had to empty our own trash. First time I have ever encountered that. The room had a very nice kitchen area. The extra bed could have been more comfortable, I think. They put two halves of a mattress on slats and so they tend to separate just enough to notice when you sleep on them. We wanted to be within walking distance of Oktoberfest grounds and this hotel was perfect for that. Minimal noise. We did not get the breakfast. All of the staff were very nice. I would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at Schwan Lock has been amazing. They accommodated us for an early check-in (free of charge) after our 30 hour travel from Australia. The location is close to Munchen HBF for easy to get around although we didn't mind the 20min walk to Old town. The streets can be intimidating and looked sketchy, but no one really bothered us. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a variety of selections to choose from. The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom fan wasn't working and we informed the front desk and they said they were going to send someone to look at it. It wasn't working the whole time but it didn't seem to have any other issues, as the bathroom smelled clean and the shower condensation was not an issue at all. There were no room thermostat to adjust room temperature and we can see why it can be an issue in summer. We just opened the balcony door to let the cold air in and we we're satisfied with it. We definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Munich!!
