We were at Hotel Blauer Karpfen for 3 nights and the stay was perfect for us. We enjoyed the clean room, wonderful breakfast, open bar, clean water, and proximity to the S train for our trips into Munich for the Octoberfest festivities. The cafes and markets close by were also great. Bianca and staff were super helpful and hospitable. We highly recommend this place coming from the US as it was a comfy base for us as we figured out the area for a first time visit.

Best is the breakfast, the Boss and the staff are very kind and friendly. They greet you every morning. There’s a lot of fresh food to choose from. Plenty of safe and free parking spaces. We drove to Zugspitze and also to Oktoberfest using P-ride at English Garden (just 2 euros a day). It’s fantastic!

The staff were very nice and kind. A Greek restaurant attached the property is excellent. Its located the suburb of Munich, convenient and quiet. Walking distance to S station. The water dispenser at the hallway was good idea and useful. You should try their breakfast buffet even though it wasn't complementary. It has a lot of selections and food was healthy and delicious! I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Munich!

The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood, within walking distance of some local attractions. It is close to the S-Bahn station for easy access to Munich and it has a few nice restaurants very close-by. The breakfast was very good. But the best thing is the staff, especially Rebecca, who was so helpful to my family. No matter what we needed, they were always able and willing to provide it. We would encourage anyone going to visit Munich to consider staying at the Hotel Blauer Karpfen.

We stayed for one night and had a very pleasant stay. The lady at reception was very kind and welcoming. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the free parking was a bonus. The hotel is conveniently located next to a beautiful castle with lovely gardens. We would happily stay here again.
