It was a good price for our needs. We were looking for a separate bedroom and this was perfect. The theme of the hotel is in turns very cute and fun and cheesy. The woman at the front desk was kind and informative. We weren’t wild about the neighborhood, but overall it was good.

There’s no restaurant or kitchen. But you can order food from apps and they deliver to your room. There is breakfast and a bar. Terrace patio was nice quiet and cozy. Walking distance from München Hbf. Rooms were clean and staff were helpful.

Staff is very friendly, and the hotel is unique and well situated in Munich (20 minute walk to the main square). My only negative is that we booked a 1 bedroom suite, and it is NOT a 1 bedroom. It is a studio suite with a bed and a sofa bed in the same room. It should not be advertised as a 1 bedroom suite.

We checked into Cocoon last minute because our first hotel had no AC. It was the best decision! The room was spacious, the AC worked wonderfully, and the staff were so accommodating and friendly! Basam (spelling?) at the front desk was so helpful, friendly, and he found my daughters missing jewelry!

Hotel was really well located for everything, very clean, had everything you needed, very good brand of shower gel etc, breakfast was excellent, room very comfortable, bedding was clean & fresh, receptionist that I dealt with on arrival was excellent, room wasn’t ready but I could drop off my bag, very helpful, would recommend staying here, would definitely stay again.

Gritty but lively location immediately adjacent train station. Getting to the hotel down one-lane, one-way road took planning. 15 to 20 minute ‘busy’ walk to Marienplatz. Parking extremely tight but on premises for a fee and even though the hotel was sold out we always found a spot. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Outdoor courtyard was pleasant. They try to have some fun with Bavarian themed décor throughout. Breakfast for a fee was good but doesn’t set any benchmarks. Junior suite was spacious and second washroom appreciated. Bed comfortable. Not a fan of the room lighting as its all or nothing - no way to select individual lights. No switch for main bathroom lighting- its on a motion sensor only and stays on and shines through glass windows into the room and stays on for 7 minutes or so - not ideal at 3am when everyone else in room is (was) asleep! There was some noise from adjacent rooms but no street noise. Plenty of good eating options nearby. Overall, we enjoyed our stay fine.
