The staff was very friendly and eager to help. The facilities are great with an excellent (and surprisingly big) garden. The volcanic tunnel on the property is huge and worth the visit by itself.

Our stay at Grotta Resort was very comfortable and the staff were amazing. It’s very convenient if you want to do Gorilla trekking. We were picked up and dropped off at Kigali by the resort, our driver Enock really looked after us and made sure we arrived at our destinations.

I would not recommend this stay to anyone. I booked a cottage. When I got there close to midnight, there was insects crawling around. They changed my room to only have plumbing issues where as soon as you turn on the sink the floor flooded with water accompanied with spiders, for them to have to change me again to a very small room which is not what I paid for. Requesting a full refund immediately for this horrible experience. Waiting on Nicholas (manager) who can’t even make a decision without speaking to the ceo. Terrible experience all around!
