The property is in need of significant renovations. The shower was not working properly, and overall the hotel appears to need substantial maintenance and updating. Unfortunately, this experience makes me reconsider whether I would stay here again.

Elevator closest to lobby was out of order. No hot water in shower yet had it in bathroom sink. Had read reviews prior to booking about hot water issues and thought it would surely be resolved by my stay - wrong! I reported that to the front desk when checking out. No rate adjustment offered. Apparent black mold in bathroom tub area, shown in pic. Bed was comfortable and I appreciated the mini frig. Bathroom counter was spacious though minimal closet space - plenty for one person staying one night. No whirlpool in room as online photos suggested - just a large empty space. Seating available in lobby though lacking wall decor - does not seem an inviting space to mingle or relax. Convenient location minutes from Mount Airy Casino and local businesses, and more reasonably priced than many other options.

When I booked this hotel, I made sure breakfast was included, but when I got there and asked about it, they told me it wasn’t, which was pretty disappointing. The front desk staff were nice, but the hotel itself is very old and feels really run-down. It honestly looked almost abandoned because it was so empty. I even felt a little uncomfortable staying there. The place really needs some updates. New curtains, fresh paint, new carpets, and just an overall renovation would make a huge difference. If you’re just looking for a cheap place to stay, it might be okay, but it would definitely be my last choice. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t stay here again.

plenty of parking spaces. however, they need to fix a few pot holes. good lights. The staff is FABULOUS!! My son checked in late with his 5yo daughter and next day after the wedding Amish gave her a puppy stuff animal. The beds are comfy. we had the king rooms and Amish made sure we were next to each other. The pool looked great but we were there for a weekend weeding and didn't use it. Place is great for the price and store across the street and a fun restaurant bar 7 minute walk. We will stay again hopefully, for the baby shower. We stayed June 19th-21st 2026. the AC works good.
