Hotel seemed tired. Staff pleasant but lobby smelled of pool and overall the property is in need of updating. Particularly unhappy that they price gouged because of a concert in town. $460.00 for a room that should've been less than $200. Was willing to pay that but expected a room worth $200.....it wasn't.

Have stayed many times here while visiting daughter at CMU. This hotel is a great value, less than the other better hotels in the area and it is a great stay. Dozens of choices of restaurants withing 5 minute drive. The rooms are clean, the beds super comfy and very quiet after 10 pm, (which the hotel takes seriously). We will stay at this hotel until our daughter finishes school at CMU (one more year)........Fire Up Chips!!
