When we arrived, the front desk staff member was very kind and check in went smoothly, which was the only positive part of our stay. We were surprised to learn breakfast was $13 per person, including children, which we had not expected.We were placed on the third floor, where there was a strong unpleasant odor in the hallway. Our room door was also stuck and difficult to open, which raised safety concerns. The room initially looked clean, but that changed quickly. After returning from the pool, we found ants crawling on my purse, the table, and our food. Later, we also noticed what appeared to be blood stains on one of the beds. Housekeeping refused to change the sheets, saying our room was not scheduled for cleaning. I reported the ants to the front desk, and maintenance sprayed bug repellent in the room. The smell was so strong we had to leave for about an hour. When I requested a room change, the front desk refused without offering any alternative. Overall, the stay was very disappointing due to cleanliness issues, pests, and poor customer service. I would not recommend this hotel.
