“Really lovely place to stay, lots of nice features - honesty bar with QR code to pay, with range of products including Champagne, also similarly, drinks in room and snacks. Visually, very well designed, boutique experience. I booked late at night after cancelled ferry and was contacted by owner immediately with information re stay.”

“Comfortable rooms above a pub less than a two minute walk from Lymington Town railway station and a few minutes to town centre and quayside with restaurants and pubs. Street was fairly quiet at night. Staff friendly and efficient- we left our bags as we arrived early and when we returned later to check in the bags had been taken to our room for us. Would stay again.”

“The little gypsy caravan was lovely and quaint, an experience in itself, everywhere was immaculate and clean, well organised, the continental breakfast was beautiful with a wide range and fresh fruit, the owner recommended we're to eat in the village and drink, it's was excellent to, nice and friendly, overall an excellent experience”

“Had a lovely Halloween stay in Burley, such a great location in the New Forest. Really appreciated the friendly staff, lovely welcoming bar, and the superb Halloween decorations which really set the scene and mood.”

“A band was playing until 11.10pm on Friday night which was above the legal 11pm time limit.. (this was the time I was told this would be the time the band would finish. My room was above the band- so it's worth avoiding that room! It was called “Port” Breakfast was ok other than the mouldly brown bread, I didn't check if the kitchen was clean. Didn't get breakfast on the 2nd morning as I arrived downstairs at 9.15 am - doors all locked up. The room was clean and tidy - staff friendly”

“Rooms were very nice and comfortable. We had to leave at 7.30 so could not have breakfast as service started at 8am. Pub part felt soulless and having to sit and drink whilst staff have finished their shift and were chatting to working staff spoilt the quiet atmosphere. To me it felt overpriced for the product we received”

“The breakfast ŕoom was high quality with wooden carved dining chairs and chandeliers. Our guest room was well decorated with good paintings and carved woodwork. and The recliner chair with a footstool was both notable and comfortable. The large sofa was also comfortable. Our balcony with a view of fields beyond would have been a place to relax in on a warm day. The full English Breakfast was both good quality and ample food.”

“We had a very nice stay and the property is very well situated just off the Town Centre from where you can catch a bus to anywhere on the island. Very good breakfast and the owner was very nice and helpful. The only slight downside was that the television in the room was very small.”
