Clean, quiet, and the view that can't be beat. If your visiting the Great Sands park this is the place to stay. Only negative is the on site country store is closed.
Great views of great sand dunes national park from our room. We also enjoyed watching stars at night. We love the super cute and friendly cats hanging around the lodge😀 we also saw a family of six deers when we left. Overall we had a great stay at this lodge 👍🌺
It’s the perfect place to stay if you’re doing back to back days at the park. Seriously out in the middle of nowhere, zero frills, but clean and refreshing with a million dollar view.

Liked: Cleanliness
The location was perfect. The room was clean, but I would highly recommend new bedspreads. The breakfast was ok, but several items were empty with no one refilling items with over an hour left in breakfast time.
Very basic accommodation, one night stay is all you need. Rooms are expensive, definitely paying for the view and proximity to the Dunes. Breathtaking views of the Sand Dunes.
A clean room with a great view! Super close to the great sand dunes. Everything was clean. The grab and go breakfast was a little underwhelming as some of the items were out.
We liked the location which was close to the park entrance. The view was great;we were able to view the sand dunes from our room. Room exceeded our expectations, it looked better in person than in the photographs. Had a variety of easy simple breakfast items to take back to your room to enjoy.
A simple but perfect place to enjoy the park. The staff was great, the shower had great water pressure, the beds were comfortable. The little restaurant at the roadside had great very friendly staff and the burger was excellent
Room was clean. Community showers and bathrooms were clean. It was nice to stargaze through top of dome. Restaurant below the campground was very convenient and enjoyed a really great burger! Literally minutes from entrance of the great sand dunes NP! You could view the dunes from patio.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The only good reason to stay here is the closeness to the Great Sand Dunes park.

The staff was friendly and the location was great. The accommodations I was given, a RV trail, was terrible.
We had booked the RV Camper for a night… we got #26 . It was so clean and neat. The towels were also very clean. Very great location as it’s just next to the entrance of the Sand Dunes Nation Park. More than a stay it was a great experience for us. We were a couple and enjoyed the location the stay and breakfast was great as well.
Good helpful courteous staff, pleasant stay, room was clean , this was good lodge in a remote location, dont expect fancy accommodation, all basic requirements are meet in clean comfortable hygienic way.
