Everyone was so friendly, not just in the Inn but the Village as a whole. The room was very comfortable, with only a short walk to the station, local walking spots & free on street parking straight across the road. We would come here again, thanks for a wonderful stay.

The Swan Inn is a hidden treasure. Simon is a great host and very warm and helpful. I had a delicious dinner prepared by Scott, the chef. The location is an easy walk from the train station, close to shops and restaurants.

It was only a one night visit (we were going to Longborough opera) and we did not eat or even breakfast there. So I can comment only on the room, which was fine with everything that you you would want, and the host who was very welcoming and solicitous. The Victoria cafe, close by, is excellent for breakfast.

We had a fantastic weekend and I can honestly say Simon, The Manager is probably one of the best hosts I have met. Nothing is to much trouble for him and he is just so accommodating. Scott was also a credit as lovely and as friendly and just as helpful. The Hotel is in a great location for exploring the Cotswolds. Our room was cute and had a real warm feeling to it, cosy. Definitely will return as long as our circumstances allow.

Work in progress for the delightful new owner, Simon. It’s an historic property in the process of improving to Simon’s vision but isn’t there yet, while being fully serviceable. The food is excellent as is the location. Staff are quick to address any concerns and extremely helpful. The town information center is across the street as is the bus station. A 3.5 stay moving up the rankings but the older edifice isn’t there yet.

The check‑in and check‑out process was smooth, but we did experience issues on our first evening and struggled to sleep. After speaking with the staff the next morning, they were sympathetic and apologised, then moved us to an available room. We slept much better on the second night, and appreciated their quick response.

Simon and crew were the best. Top-notch, warm welcome, accommodations (FYI: one flight of steep stairs if you’re “knee conscious”) and Scott’s meals were divine. As a solo female traveler, I felt extremely comfortable staying here. Moreton is a great staging area for your trip to the Cotswolds - easy train connections and hourly bus availability to local towns, plus all the walking trail opportunities you need. Great breakfast options too. If you book at the Swan, you’re assured a lovely stay.

We book this stay last minute as was let down with a rental property in the area. The town is located well for sightseeing around the beautiful Cotswolds, everything we wanted to see easily accessible. The landlord was so friendly and helpful. He advised us of little hidden gems to see. We ate dinner at the pub on one of the evenings, and the food was delicious. Pub has a great atmosphere, seems to be very popular locally. Car park at back super convenient, and lots of free parking nearby anyway. Always greeted by a smile from owner of staff, everyone so attentive. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Checked in around 9:00 pm and we were greeted by a drunk owner (remember this is also a pub!) then we were guided through the kitchen to our rooms upstairs which were dated and dirty. This is the first time that we had to block the door of the rooms because we felt unsafe. Avoid at all costs!

The location in Morton-in-marsh was excellent. Our room was small but adequate for 2 nights. We ate in the pub and the food was good, although it's a shame they don't provide breakfast. The pub was very quiet and closed at 9.30pm so there was a lack of atmosphere. But it was fine as a base for a couple of days.
