This was our second time at this hotel. The room (21), though a bit outdated, was very clean and spacious. The bedding smelled fresh and the mattresses were quite comfortable. Our bathroom even had an actual bath! So, if you have no need or budget for luxury and you just want an affordable place to sleep close to the Place des Art, you can’t beat this hotel.

If you are a solo traveller like I was, this is honestly a solid choice. Super close to subway and major sites to see nearby. Stayed 9 nights. No AC so it doesn’t cool down in the hot summer days. 1 fan in the room to help. I would probably stay here again, decent price and amazing location.

A no-frills hotel in a good location in town with bus and Metro access close by. Off street parking available. Street noise and steep staircases could be problematic. It is not ADA compliant.

Great location and friendly staff. Building is very old and in need of some work. Fridge seals were broken and the shower door had seen better days. But was an otherwise pleasant stay. Just don’t expect it to the Hilton.

It's an old building with lots of character but the service was excellent. We were warmly greeted upon our arrival. Our room was clean and spacious, and very quiet. The water pressure in the bathroom sink was low, but otherwise it was fine. I would strongly recommend Bella Casa.

Good location and helpful staff, but this hotel is run down and dirty. There was no water pressure in the shower so I was not able to wash my hair. The fridge made some weird noises so we unplugged it. The bed was comfortable, the linens were clean, but it looks like the last remodeling was completed in the 90s. Despite the convenient location and reasonable price I will not stay there again.

I really appreciated my 5 night stay over there. I found the place extremely quiet, even though the location was located in a very busy area (may be partly because my room was looking at the inner yard ). It is a old house with thick walls and thick wooden doors which also probably help helps in absorbing the sound waves. I also needed a table with a chair in order to get some work done in my room and promptly the staff provided me with the furniture. I could also use a small fridge at the end of the corridor which was quite convenient.

It was very very primitive and old and out of range and out of order place! I cannot believe that why this place exists in Montreal downtown! It is close to every single important place but it is not worth when you have to walk up and down from the back of building to access parking: very dangerous iron artificial stairs out of main building that I never ever suggest anybody to book with this hotel at all. Wash-stand was leaky and bathroom was very basic and really disgusting. Stuff has been helpful and some very cooperative and this is the main positive point on the top of proximity in downtown. Maybe the other positive thing was its quietness and a very strange good vibe! However, I never ever suggest anybody to stay even one night there! Be careful if you are a clean person and scare from climbing on semi-protected stairs.
