Fabulous hotel, albeit a little overpriced for the amenities. We wished we would have stayed longer. We preferred Monteverde to La Fortuna. Saw more wildlife on this property than our whole trip! Great, large breakfast with lots of options for vegans!

Clean rooms but some are quite uphill to get to. Very nice forest around and the trails are nice to walk in. The breakfast at Hotel Ficus next door was great. Ver close to shops and restaurants. Will visit again

Small and cozy room. You definitely experience nature. They provide helpful activities to do in Monteverde. Wish we had more days there. If you’re planning to zip line in Costa Rica, do it in MonteVerde. The staff were very hospitable and responsive. For breakfast they had buffet style. Options were good.

Parking was easy and free. Can’t beat this great location! Shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores are all walkable. Very beautiful forest around the hotel and walking trails. We saw lots of wildlife from our room! The room is spacious and clean and the shower was very nice since it had good water pressure and a large shower head. The staff are very helpful and nice. The breakfast is very nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I’d would love to stay here again.

Room was clean and staff very helpful. The breakfast at the Fiscus hotel was very good . The area around the hotel is really neat - right in the forest . Felt like a cabin. Our only complaint would be the poor lighting in the room. Perhaps LED lights would brighten the room.
