A unique hotel for a night stay in a quaint seaside harbor City. With interest and realistic historical rooms for a seaside city. Ensure the weather is in the chiller side if you are used to modern hotel rooms. Lots of shops and things to do in the area and very nice and friendly hotel staff.

I had a great visit to Monterey, CA. The weather was incredible and being close to Monterey Bay was so nice. I enjoyed my stay at the Monterey Hotel. The staff was very nice and it is within walking distance of Fisherman’s Wharf and the walking path up and down the bay. The hotel was built many years ago and is positioned to catch the nice breeze that Monterey Bay offers. Great food and beautiful scenery all around.

The King Suite rooms with fireplaces are wonderful. Very spacious, we could stay there for a long time. The location is perfect and walking distance to fisherman’s wharf and many good restaurants. The free trolly stop is just around the corner and so easy to use. Only a mile and a half from the Aquarium. Can’t wait to go back!!

The greatest part about the Monterey Hotel was how it was on the same street as all the shops and very close to fisherman’s wharf as well as the place where the trolley picks you up for free and drives you to Cannery Row. Great location overall! Very spacious bathroom. The staff were extremely fast to come bring new towels or empty trash cans.
