Perfect location right on Monterey Bay between Lovers Point and Cannery Row. GREAT way to start each day by our favorite breakfast chef Carmen - truly extraordinary with everything made from scratch. Wine and cheese happy hour each afternoon at 4:00 is a great way to meet some of the other guests. The house was built in 1888 and there was an extensive remodel 3 years ago to spruce things up a bit without losing any of its Victorian charm. We will be back - thank you!! Jack & Amy - Ft. This was our second time staying here and it never disappoints!! We love the Green Gables! The location is amazing, the views are spectacular, the staff is super friendly, the breakfast and afternoon wine and cheese are absolutely delicious and the room was extremely clean and beautifully decorated!!

I absolutely love this little inn. It was so quiet and relaxing. The view is stunning, the staff is friendly, and the rooms were well kept. The beds could be a little more comfortable, but they were decent enough that I could sleep through the night. The little dining room for breakfast had the best view of the ocean. In the evening, I made some tea and just sat and watched the view for a little while. The breakfast was so good! It was quite relaxing. I must say that Ivy was absolutely so pleasant to talk to. She gave us great recommendations for dinner since we arrive late and needed to find a restaurant open a little later. She had a few great jokes as well. I will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Super friendly and relaxed environment; lovely welcome. Fab location right on the waterfront. Everything was just right and we really enjoyed our stay. We were upgraded to the Lacy suite which was superb. Breakfast excellent with great views out to sea. Home made Peanut cookies were a real treat - thank you!

This is the second time my wife and I have stayed here and it was just as enjoyable as the first time. The location is outstanding. Our room in the cottage was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Having a separate tub and shower and double sinks makes getting ready to go out so much easier. My wife and I were overwhelmed by the beauty of the location and the charm of the Green Gables Inn. The main house is an exquisite Queen Anne gem full of period pieces and a spectacular view. Breakfast and mid-afternoon wine was served there. We stayed in the back house of rooms and were thrilled with the modern touches that did not diminish the charm. A very well kept B&B.

Green Gables Everytime

The Green Gables is a wonderful property with amazing views. Lots of shops, restaurants and stores within walking distance. Don’t expect chain stores! Pacific Grove is a charming town for peace and quiet. Except maybe for the early morning gulls!

Perfect!

The Inn is BEAUTIFUL and right on the coast with MARVELOUS views! There are cookies upon arrival, wine and munchies for happy hour AND a delicious fresh breakfast in the morning. The staff are welcoming, kind, and very accommodating. Our room was beautiful, very large, with a beautiful view of the coast and a fireplace! Also refrigerator and coffee maker.
